Hydroseeding a new housing development in Mililani.
Hydroseeding is a fast and extremely effective method of planting seeded varieties of grass, groundcovers, flowers, plants and trees. Using recycled paper and organic materials, this technique forms a nutrient rich blanket which protects seeds, reduces erosion, retains moisture, and increases seed germination rates.
Hydrosprigging Tifway Bermuda at the Hualalai Four Seasons Golf Course

Most high quality turfgrass varieties do not produce viable seed and must be planted using vegetative propagation. Hydrosprigging is a form of hydraulic planting that uses vegitative cutting "sprigs" instead of seed. This technique is by far the most effective method of quickly establishing a high quality end product.
SoilGuard™ was used on this Hawaii DOT project, the first of its kind in Hawaii.

The Helemano Roadside Improvement project (shown above) was the first Bonded Fiber Matrix (BFM) project performed under contract for the State of Hawaii D.O.T. Following this successful job, the State began specifying BFM products to replace traditional Erosion Control Blankets. Hundreds of thousands of our taxpayer dollars have since been saved by using this state of the art technology.
A major soil stabilization project from the viewpoint of an 80' working platform.

Hydroseed Hawaii has the ability to formulate site-specific solutions for severe conditions. Our techniques are often far cheaper than traditional methods of soil stabilization. Our expertise in working with binding agents, cementitious binders, polymers, and acrylics sets us apart from the competition. Let our experts solve your soil stabilization problems!

We found that to grow sustainable native plants requires living soil rich with a complex of humus, tilth and numerous site-specific microorganisms. Our "bioengineered materials" deliver consistent results by providing the crucial missing ingredients to literally "grow the soil." KIWIPOWER Organic Soil Treatment™ stimulates the growth of the beneficial microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi, and FERTIL-FIBERS NutriMulch™ provides the essential long-term nutrients both the plants and microorganisms need during the initial growing period. Without these stimuli, it can take Mother Nature anywhere from 50 years to 10,000 years to revegetate a site.
